1947 begann der Schweizer Uhrmacher Vital Bueche in Nidau im Kanton Bern mit der Produktion von Uhrwerken. Er fusioniert seinen Nachnamen mit dem seiner Frau und l\u00e4sst noch im selben Jahr die Marke Bueche Girod eintragen (auch in den kantonalen \u00c4mtern Biel und Ponts-de-Martel). Zun\u00e4chst belieferte er gr\u00f6ssere H\u00e4user wie Universal Geneve mit Komponenten, widmete sich dann aber der kompletten Produktion von Designeruhren, die vor allem in den 60er und 70er Jahren sehr erfolgreich waren.<\/span><\/p>\n

Er fusioniert seinen Nachnamen mit dem seiner Frau und l\u00e4sst noch im selben Jahr die Marke Bueche Girod eintragen (auch in den kantonalen \u00c4mtern Biel und Ponts-de-Martel). Zun\u00e4chst belieferte er gr\u00f6\u00dfere H\u00e4user wie Universal Geneve mit Komponenten, widmete sich dann aber der kompletten Produktion von Designeruhren, die vor allem in den 60er und 70er Jahren sehr erfolgreich waren. Insbesondere produzierte er kleine Damenuhren mit Geh\u00e4usen aus Edelmetall, die mit L\u00fcnetten aus Edelsteinen verziert waren. Die Formen dieser kleinen Meisterwerke erinnern an die Produktion von Cartier und Baume & Marcier in denselben Jahren und richteten sich an die gleiche Kundschaft. In Anbetracht der hohen handwerklichen Qualit\u00e4t und der geringen Gr\u00f6\u00dfe des Unternehmens konnte Bueche Girod keine Gro\u00dfserienproduktion auflegen, weshalb seine Uhren heute bei Sammlern besonders begehrt sind. Diese \"Ellipse\" Referenz 6714-1 ist daher sehr selten zu finden. Das Zifferblatt ist wei\u00df, sehr n\u00fcchtern, mit radial angeordneten r\u00f6mischen Ziffern, die sich entlang des elliptischen Umfangs erstrecken. In der Mitte befindet sich der Schriftzug Bueche Girod in Kursivschrift. Die Zeiger sind schwarz und haben die Form eines Stocks. Das ellipsenf\u00f6rmige Geh\u00e4use besteht aus massivem 18-kar\u00e4tigem Gelbgold und wurde von den Goldschmiedemeistern von Guyot & Cie in La Chaux-de-Fonds gefertigt (Hammerschlagpunze Nr. 122). Die Krone befindet sich bei 12 Uhr, um das elliptische Profil des Geh\u00e4uses nicht zu beschmutzen. Die Bandanst\u00f6\u00dfe sind integraler Bestandteil des zentralen Geh\u00e4uses: Sie erstrecken sich wie eine r\u00f6hrenf\u00f6rmige Struktur und biegen sich dann nach innen. Die gesamte Komposition ist abgerundet und verj\u00fcngt sich auf elegante Weise.
