In tutto il suo splendore, questo orologio presenta molte caratteristiche che lo rendono un oggetto speciale e unico. Il quadrante spazzolato con fondo oro ha la caratteristica di avere gli indici dei minuti realizzati in depressione sulla superficie ed esaltati dal colore nero applicato manualmente con la punta del pennello. Una lavorazione inaspettata e sorprendente, che rende l'intera struttura circolare del quadrante molto vivace nel gioco di riflessi con la luce. Al centro, a ore 12, si trova la bellissima e prestigiosa firma Van Cleef & Arpels. Le lancette sono essenziali ed eleganti con la loro forma a matita e temperate in un blu intenso. L'altro punto di eccellenza di questo straordinario orologio a 3 lancette \u00e8 la cassa a forma di \"UFO\" \/ \"disco volante\" di produzione francese. \u00c8 strutturata in tre pezzi e presenta un'ampia lunetta caratterizzata da incisioni rettangolari corrispondenti all'indicazione delle ore tranne che ai quarti, dove sono realizzati gli elegantissimi numeri romani. Questa struttura grafica e costruttiva \u00e8 realizzata anche sul retro della cassa, con il bel fondello al centro. Tutto intorno, la carrure \u00e8 realizzata con una scultorea segmentazione verticale che ricorda quella delle monete. Una soluzione di design davvero unica, che rende questa cassa un capolavoro. All'interno si trova il solidissimo movimento a carica manuale AS1240 con secondi diretti al centro e decorato in superficie con la Cote de Geneve. Questo fantastico esemplare firmato Van Cleef & Arpels ha anche il suo cinturino originale e firmato in pelle nera, che termina con una fibbia ad ardiglione in oro rosa 18 carati dalla splendida forma pseudo-trapezoidale. \u00c8 unita al cinturino tramite una vite passante: una soluzione tecnica molto raffinata che impreziosisce e completa ulteriormente questo capolavoro.
