Il calibro \u00e8 alloggiato all'interno di questa robusta cassa in cui spicca la corona sovradimensionata per facilitare la presa, ed \u00e8 protetto dal fondello a vite a sei tacche sulla cui superficie sono incisi la Freccia larga e il numero di assegnazione sopra la caratteristica figura del Cavalluccio marino. All'interno di questo orologio estremamente tecnico e di grande valore storico, si trova il movimento Omega 552 a carica automatica completamente ramato, con massa oscillante bidirezionale e microregolazione a collo di cigno.
