In oltre 250 anni di storia, Vacheron Constantin \u00e8 sempre stato sinonimo di qualit\u00e0 ed eleganza. La collezione Phidias, nata a cavallo tra gli anni '80 e '90, ne \u00e8 una testimonianza molto concreta.<\/span><\/p>\n

Il nome deriva dal famoso scultore e architetto greco Fidia, che rivoluzion\u00f2 l'arte classica nel V secolo a.C. partendo da Atene (dove gli fu affidato il compito di supervisionare i lavori di costruzione e finitura del Partenone).<\/span><\/p>\n

Con queste premesse, i designer di Vacheron diedero vita al progetto di uno stile elegante ma sportivo, che si sarebbe dovuto porre come successore del 222 e precursore dell'Overseas. Ha in s\u00e9 tutti gli stilemi del gusto piccolo degli anni 80-90: cassa circolare in metallo prezioso, finiture con pietre preziose, bracciale integrato e complicazioni. Tutto doveva essere opulento, senza precedenti per la categoria di orologi di quella fascia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Il quadrante \"sigma\" \u00e8 bianco con un'incredibile lavorazione guilloch\u00e9 sulla superficie. A ore 12 \u00e8 presente la firma di Vacheron Constantin Geneve; a ore 6 la scritta Chronometre Royal Automatic. Gli indici sono caratterizzati dal posizionamento di splendidi diamanti che danno luce all'intero sistema. A ore 12 si trova la Croce di Malta applicata in oro bianco. A ore 3 si trova l'elegante finestrella della data. Le lancette sono in oro bianco e hanno una forma lineare e pulita a matita stretta.<\/span><\/p>\n

Il corpo della cassa \u00e8 di forma circolare con la preziosit\u00e0 della lunetta tempestata da una sequenza di diamanti in linea. Il profilo destro presenta delle spalle che proteggono la bella corona marchiata con la Croce di Malta. Ha un profilo sottile e seghettato e richiama la stessa profilatura del fondello, altro punto di attrazione di questo orologio. Si articola su due livelli, il primo dei quali (piatto) consente il serraggio del fondello con il corpo della cassa per mezzo di 8 viti a testa piatta. Questa soluzione di chiusura \u00e8 tipica di Fidia. La parte superiore del fondello esterno (leggermente convesso) reca ancora la firma Vacheron e l'indicazione della certificazione di cronometro. Infine, il profilo destro presenta delle spalle che proteggono la bella corona marchiata con la Croce di Malta.<\/span><\/p>\n

Il bracciale integrato in oro bianco massiccio 18Kt ha un design molto audace e moderno, fatto di linee rette e spigoli vivi, che contrastano e giocano con la circolarit\u00e0 della cassa. \u00c8 stato realizzato con un intervallo di maglie lucide e spazzolate di diverse dimensioni, che rendono la composizione complessiva molto vivace.
