Fondata nel 1737 da Abraham Favre a Grenchen, Favre-Leuba \u00e8 la seconda marca di orologi pi\u00f9 antica della Svizzera, solo due anni pi\u00f9 giovane di Blancpain. Quello che era iniziato come un piccolo laboratorio a Le Locle \u00e8 cresciuto fino a diventare un nome globale sinonimo di esplorazione, innovazione e robusta precisione, con un importante passato di importatore di orologi in India.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nel corso della sua lunga tradizione manifatturiera, Favre-Leuba ha saputo intercettare i gusti di molte epoche fino all'avvento della crisi del quarzo, che ha portato la Maison a sgretolarsi per poi rinascere nel presente.<\/span><\/p>\n

Questo piccolo ed eccezionale orologio \u00e8 un esempio lampante dell'alta qualit\u00e0 raggiunta nella produzione di orologi eleganti e classici, in materiali preziosi e con una lavorazione di altissima eccellenza.<\/span><\/p>\n

Il quadrante \u00e8 bianco, di forma quadrata, con indici piramidali applicati ai quarti. Il resto della superficie \u00e8 caratterizzato dalla tradizionale tampografia nera. Al centro del quadrante, a ore 12, si trova la firma Favre-Leuba Geneve; a ore 6, la scritta Swiss Made. Le lancette sono dorate a forma di matita. Il vetro minerale a forma di cubo \u00e8 molto spesso e si innalza sopra il quadrante, conferendo tridimensionalit\u00e0 anche alla superficie della cassa.<\/span><\/p>\n

La cassa in oro giallo 18Kt massiccio ha una forma rettangolare allungata e piatta con anse inclinate medio-lunghe. La sua superficie \"effetto corteccia\" \u00e8 stata lavorata con la tecnica della \"martellatura\" nel laboratorio del maestro incassatore Revor, attivo a La Chaux-de-Fonds dal 1934 (punzone a testa di martello n\u00b0351) e oggi di propriet\u00e0 di Caterina Brussa-Sacchi.<\/span><\/p>\n

L'orologio ha il cinturino nero originale firmato che si chiude con la fantastica fibbia placcata in oro prodotta da UNROC che riporta anche il logo Favre-Leuba.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sotto il fondello di questo rarissimo orologio si trova il bellissimo calibro miniaturizzato di forma rettangolare FHF 59-21, prodotto a partire dal '65. This small and exceptional watch is a shining example of the high quality achieved in the production of elegant, classic watches, in precious material and with workmanship of the highest excellence. The dial is white, quadrant-shaped, and has pyramid-shaped indexes applied to the quarters. The rest of its surface features a traditional black pad printing. In the center of the dial at 12 o'clock is the Favre-Leuba Geneve signature; at 6 o'clock is the writing Swiss Made. The hands are golden pencil-shaped. The cube-shaped mineral crystal is very thick and rises above the dial, giving three-dimensionality to the case surface as well. The solid 18Kt yellow gold case has an elongated and flat rectangular shape with medium-long inclined lugs.
