Il quadrante \u00e8 marrone cioccolato, ha uno sfondo granuloso con indici a bastone alle ore e lancette a forma di matita. \u00c8 incastonato in profondit\u00e0 nella splendida cassa in oro giallo massiccio 18Kt a forma di \"lacunare\". Il suo profilo \u00e8 davvero unico e raro da vedere: la parte superiore e quella inferiore della cassa hanno un profilo molto sporgente. Queste due sezioni ottagonali funzionano come la cornice di un soffitto rinascimentale e lasciano spazio al corpo centrale della cassa. Si tratta di una vera e propria opera d'arte firmata da Vacheron Constantin e dal maestro incassatore che l'ha prodotta. Sul lato si trova la bella corona logata con la Croce di Malta che si armonizza con la composizione.
