A fine and rare gents Vacheron Constantin rectangular wrist watch in yellow gold, circa 1950’s.
Audemars Piguet and Vacheron Constantin had a close relationship during the mid 20th century. The origins of this design can be traced back to offerings from Audemars Pigeut during the 1930’s and were produced in small numbers until the 1950’s. Despite the low production, many different configurations were produced by AP and VC.
The brushed yellow gold case measures 25mm excluding the crown and 33mm lug to lug.
Factory original silver dial with subsidiary seconds.
