Extremely rare Universal. oversized stainless steel chronograph wristwatch
Signed Universal, Geneve, Compax, ref. 22430, movement no. 260’XXX, case no. 1’193’XXX, circa 1945
Cal. 292 nickel-finished lever movement, 17 jewels, the silvered matte dial with Arabic numerals with luminous accents (radium), outer tachymetre scale, luminous radium hands, three engine-turned subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours registers, in large circular case with downturned angular lugs, snap on back, two rectangular chronograph buttons in the band, 45 mm. diam.
