ANALYSIS
This magnificent example of Port Royal produced by Zenith since the 70s, features a fantastic vertically brushed silver-colored dial. At 12 o’clock the classic Zenith logo of the period; at 6 o’clock the elegant Port Royal signature fills the lower part of the dial and is juxtaposed with the automatic writing. At 3 o’clock there is the date window with its black dial frame. The hour markers are shaped like slender parallelepipeds, have a central black insert, and are combined with beautiful cream-colored Tritium dots. The spheres are silver-colored dauphine to match the dial and the markers and feature luminescent paste.
The dial is closed like a porthole by a bezel that rises from the upper surface of the finely brushed case. The full stainless steel case is quadrangular in shape with a slight swelling on the sides. On the right side there is the beautiful original logo crown.
The integrated bracelet is beautiful and very characteristic. It is structured in rectangular mesh brushed on the upper surface and connected in the lower part by a micro-cylinder hinge system, which allow great softness on the wrist. At the bottom is the original clasp with Zenith logo and signature
Under the screw-down case back is the engine of this elegant timepiece: the Zenith 49.0 self-winding movement.
