It’s truly wonderful to do things with someone you admire and appreciate.
And it is precisely from this fusion of ideas that the collaboration with Mr. Archive was born. The story of discovering these watches began twenty years ago, when during one of my many trips to India, I found a few 1970s Enicar pieces, old stock, with an Anticorodal case, treated in special finishes in various colors. This material was very innovative for its time. Anticorodal refers to a series of aluminum alloys with magnesium (0.4-1.7%), manganese (0.5-1%), and silicon (1-5%), characterized by good mechanical properties and excellent corrosion resistance, mainly used for producing outdoor VHF and UHF antennas.
From here came the idea of having Mr. Archive create special straps using vintage materials to make these watches unique. In this case, military beige canvas was chosen, dismantling the covering of an old bag. And thus, the magic happens. Five Enicar new old stock watches with a bronze-colored Anticorodal case and a military beige strap made from vintage material.A combination that is both refined and sporty at the same time. We have only five pieces of this watch, featuring a tiger-striped dial, a classic effect from the 1970s
A unique and unrepeatable emotion.
