ANALYSIS
A fantastic example of a curved tonneau-shaped case with a stunning argenté guilloché dial with elongated enamel Roman numerals. The exceptional workmanship of the dial surface gives three-dimensionality and depth to the entire layout. In the center of the dial at 12 o’clock is the Cartier signature, at 6 o’clock the Paris signature. The hands are flame blued.
The solid 18k gold case has a smooth sloping and curved bezel, connected to the lower part with four lateral screws. The profile lines are tapered and end in the narrow lugs, which allow the fastening of the original leather strap with gold screws.
The crown is a small sculpture with the sapphire cabochon very tall cone-shaped structure.
The original leather strap is signed Cartier Paris and ends with the classic yellow gold capped buckle with an unmistakable shape.
