ANALYSIS
This beautiful watch fully represents the taste of the 70s.
It is built with an elliptical case in 925 silver integrated with a bracelet with concatenated pseudo-geometric modules, without sharp edges and corners, and therefore soft to the sight and touch.
The dial is white with radial Roman numerals that adapt to the shape of the case. At the center of the dial at 12 o’clock is the beautiful signature in italics L.U. Chopard Geneve (the acronym L.U. means Louis Ulysse). The hands are shaped like a very narrow pencil. The crown is hidden from the eyes under the bracelet with clever constructive and design intelligence.
The bracelet that wraps around the case of the watch structuring a double ellipse, has a strong reference to vegetal and zoomorphic elements. This morphology connects well with the ovoid shape of the splendid case signed internally L.U.C. as was the practice for those years. Wide hook above and on the sides of the case, gives an important presence on the upper part of the wrist with an incredible play of sinuous curves. The closure is of the “vice” type with an element that racerda the two ends.
The caliber is the ETA 2512-RZ with manual winding finished on the surface in Cote de Geneve.
