ANALYSIS
This oustanding Marvin Jumbo is valuable and very collectible due to the incredible size of the case and its beautiful two-tone dial. The latter has a butter-colored background with a contrasting peripheral section, which highlights the closed track minute track typical of military or military-inspired watches. The Arabic numerals are filled with original Radium in a beautiful cream color. At the center of the dial at 12 o’clock is the beautiful Marvin signature strongly serif under which there is the miniaturization of an airplane seen from the front and which is typical of some Marvin Jumbos. The no magnetic writing immediately below tells us about the antimagnetic properties of the caliber covered by the steel case back. The huge hands are flame-blued and overlook an oversized sub-second dial with a closed seconds indicator. The small seconds hand is also tempered and has taken on beautiful biu highlights.
The enormous 40.2mm case has a sinuous and flat profile. It is topped by a very soft stepped bezel, with a beautiful very harmonious inclination.
This impressive watch is animated by the caliber 1148 signed by Marvin.
