ANALYSIS
This is a fine example of Vacheron Constantin production from the 80s with a classic and timeless design. The dial is white with elongated Roman numerals placed radially along the outer edge of an ovoid shape. At the center at 12 o’clock is the Vacheron Constantin Geneve signature placed under the applied gold Maltese cross. The hands are in the shape of very elegant and slender leaves. As every elegant watch must be, there is no space for seconds.
The two-piece solid 18K yellow gold case has a sinuous cushion shape and is brushed on the upper surface. It is very thin: it measures only 5.2mm thick. On the right side of the caseband is the small and unobtrusive original crown with the Maltese cross logo.
The original logo sticker is still present on the outer caseback. To complete this spectacular timepiece is the original black leather strap that closes with a solid 18K yellow gold buckle also branded with the Maltese cross.
The machine that animates this NOS watch is the Vacheron Constantin 1015 caliber, with 20 jewels and adjusted in five positions.
